Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 May 2026 — effective immediately for new users; 30 days from the date of this update for existing users.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a Wivvy account or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA / UK) to use Wivvy. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and consented to these Terms on your behalf. The Service is not intended for users prohibited from using it under applicable export or sanctions law.

3. Your account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at wivvy@stylewithwivvy.app if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. License to use Wivvy

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Wivvy grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Wivvy mobile applications and access this website for your own personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Your content

"User Content" means anything you upload, post, or otherwise transmit through the Service — wardrobe photos, outfit notes, messages to Wivvy AI, and feedback.

• You own your content. Wivvy claims no ownership over your wardrobe photos or style profile.
• You give us a license. By submitting User Content, you grant Wivvy a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and create derivatives of that content solely as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you.
• You're responsible for what you upload. You represent that you have the right to share each piece of User Content and that it does not violate anyone's privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
• We may remove content. If we believe User Content violates these Terms or applicable law, we may remove or restrict it, with notice to you when feasible.

6. AI features & suggestions

Wivvy uses machine-learning models to generate outfit suggestions, conversational responses, and style insights ("AI Outputs"). AI Outputs are produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular occasion. You should use judgment before acting on any AI Output. Wivvy makes no guarantee that AI suggestions will result in any particular aesthetic, professional, or social outcome.

You may not use AI Outputs to (a) train or develop competing machine-learning models, (b) misrepresent the source of generated content, or (c) attempt to extract underlying model weights or training data.

7. Subscriptions & payments

Wivvy offers a free tier and one or more paid subscription plans ("Premium"). Subscription terms — price, billing cycle, free trial length, and auto-renewal — are disclosed at the point of purchase and are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. By subscribing, you authorize the relevant store to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Cancellation. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your App Store or Play Store account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide refunds for unused time, except where required by law.

Price changes. We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

8. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, harassing, or fraudulent purpose.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property, violates privacy, or depicts minors inappropriately.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where law explicitly permits.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any Wivvy system without prior written permission.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Service, except for standard search-engine indexing of public pages.
• Sell, sublicense, or commercialize access to your account.
• Interfere with another user's enjoyment of the Service.

9. Third-party services

The Service may link to or interoperate with third-party platforms (e.g. App Store, Play Store, weather providers, social networks). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and Wivvy is not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.

10. Intellectual property

The Service — including the Wivvy brand, mascot, logos, design system, source code, models, and documentation — is the property of Wivvy Labs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Wivvy IP to you. You may not use Wivvy trademarks without our prior written consent.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. Wivvy does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.

Wivvy provides style suggestions, not professional advice. Suggestions are not a substitute for personal judgment, professional styling consultation, dermatological advice, or any clothing-fit standards.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wivvy and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Wivvy's total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid Wivvy in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages — in those jurisdictions, the limitations above apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wivvy and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your User Content, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party right.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation poses a security or legal risk. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability, dispute resolution) will continue to apply.

15. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. For users in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence continue to apply.

You and Wivvy agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting wivvy@stylewithwivvy.app. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 60 days, either party may pursue formal proceedings in the courts of Delaware, USA, or — for EEA / UK users — the courts of your country of residence.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will notify you in-app and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page at least 30 days before the changes take effect for existing users. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may stop using the Service before they take effect.
