Delete Your Wivvy Account

You're in control. You can request deletion of your Wivvy account and all associated personal data at any time, free of charge. This page explains exactly what gets removed, what we're required to keep, and how to start the process.
1. What gets deleted
When we process your deletion request, the following data is permanently removed from Wivvy's servers:
- Account profile — your name, email address, and password.
- Style preferences and saved looks — body type, skin-tone descriptor, palette preferences, and every outfit you've saved.
- Photos and images — every wardrobe photo and try-on image you've uploaded to the app.
- Chat and conversation history — your full message history with Wivvy AI, including any image prompts you sent.
- Any other personal data stored on Wivvy servers under your account, including planning calendars, laundry status, and notification preferences.
2. What is retained
A small amount of information may be retained after account deletion, strictly limited to what we're legally required or permitted to keep:
- Anonymized transaction records — if you made a purchase or subscription payment, basic billing records (without your name or contact details) may be retained for up to 7 years, as required by tax and accounting laws.
- Aggregated, non-personal analytics — usage statistics already aggregated and stripped of personal identifiers (such as "X% of users tried the daily outfit feature") may continue to be used to improve the app. This data can no longer be linked back to you.
3. How to request deletion
You can delete your Wivvy account directly from the app in a few taps. We use a one-time email code (OTP) to confirm it's really you, then your account enters a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion.
- Open the Wivvy app and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Tap "Request deletion." We'll send a 6-digit one-time code to the email address on your account.
- Enter the code in the app to confirm. Your account is immediately deactivated — you'll be signed out and your profile becomes invisible.
- Wait 30 days. If you change your mind, just sign back in at any point during this window and your account is restored exactly as it was.
- After 30 days, your account and all associated personal data are permanently deleted from our production systems. We'll send a final confirmation email when this completes.
Can't access the app? If you've lost your phone, can no longer sign in, or removed the app before deleting your account, email us at wivvy@stylewithwivvy.app from the address on your Wivvy account and we'll process the deletion manually.
4. Timeline
- Immediately on OTP confirmation — your account is deactivated. You're signed out and your profile is no longer visible to anyone, including you, until you recover.
- Days 1 – 30 (grace period) — your data is held in a deletion queue but not yet erased. Sign back in any time during this window to cancel the deletion and fully restore your account.
- Day 30 — your account and all associated personal data are permanently deleted from our production systems and backups (subject to the retention exceptions in section 2). This step cannot be undone.
- Confirmation email — once permanent deletion completes, you'll receive a final email confirming the request has been actioned.
